From Juniper Springs, it's approximately a five mile hike 

via the Florida Trail through the Juniper Prairie Wilderness to 

the Hidden Pond primitive campsite.  

And the hike begins . . .

Birding at Mead Gardens

 October is an excellent month for warbler sighting 

at Mead Gardens.  On a recent visit with the Orange Audubon Society, we spied yellow-throated warblers, black and white warblers, palm warblers, redstarts, and vireos.
